George Reisner did not excavate the largest pyramid on the site because fractures in the rock suggested it would be a dangerous undertaking.

Architect Nacho Forcadell built a scaffolding in the pyramid chambers to protect from potential collapse, allowing us to fully excavate the underground rooms.
